Pastor John F. Ramsey, Sr. is the Senior Pastor of New Life Worship Center located in Indianapolis, Indiana. New Life Worship Center opened its doors to the Indianapolis community on Sunday, August 5, 2001. During the first service, New Life Worship Center received approximately 900 worshippers and 45 souls were led to Christ. Within the first month, over 100 souls were won over to Christ. The fresh and dynamic messages of Pastor Ramsey and the anointing on New Life Worship Center have drawn thousands to the church. Today, New Life Worship Center currently has over 4,500 members.
To accommodate the magnificent growth, New Life Worship Center has moved from its initial 350 seat sanctuary (Kessler location) into a new main location, a 13-acre 80,000 square feet 1,400 seat facility, in the city's historic Traders Point neighborhood. New Life Worship Center has also completed the CASH purchase of a central campus location in Center Township located at 3425 Boulevard Place.
Prior to founding New Life Worship Center, Pastor Ramsey founded and pastored the Victory Christian Center Church in a storefront in the inner city of Indianapolis. Victory Christian Center grew from a congregation of one into a strong congregation within 7 years. Under Pastor Ramsey's leadership, the congregation purchased a church site and paid off the mortgage within a three-month period.
As the visionary Pastor of New Life Worship Center, Pastor Ramsey is involved in the local community through outreach programs, juvenile/prison ministry, and business and civic involvement. Pastor Ramsey is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Organization of Disorders of the Corpus Callosum and is a featured national keynote speaker for various leadership and development programs.
Pastor Ramsey is furthering his education in the Indiana Wesleyan University’s Master Degree program. He’s currently working on his first book about relationships, but has two books published entitled: "Smart Money Management, A Biblical Approach to Financial Stability and "Armed and Dangerous, Equipping Leaders for Effective Ministry" and co-authored a book entitled "About My Father's Business". He also teaches a leadership class twice a year. Pastor Ramsey is married to his lovely wife, Alicia and they have three children Judah Maree, John Jr., and Jeremiah David.
